When I joined Vista Alegre, the prestigious Portuguese porcelain brand, they were looking to expand their portfolio into the lifestyle market.
Their vision was to create a collection of luxury cashmere scarves and throws featuring digital prints inspired by the brand's iconic tableware collections.
As the in-house designer, I was responsible for bringing this vision to life.
I began by carefully researching the brand's archives, selecting patterns that would translate beautifully to textiles.
Once the patterns were chosen, I worked with a team of skilled artisans to create the digital prints.
The final step was to find the right suppliers to produce the scarves and throws to the highest standards.
The result was a collection that perfectly captured the essence of Vista Alegre's timeless designs.
The launch of the textile line was a huge success, and it continues to be a popular choice for luxury shoppers around the world.
The collection was launched in 2018 and has been featured in several prestigious publications.
